4) Does your church believe that man can become a God? - No. Contrary to popular belief, there is no teaching within the scriptures that supports this belief.
5) Was Joseph Smith a Polygamist? No. Contrary to the many false stories that have been and continue to circulate concerning the act of practicing of Polygamy, evidence abounds that Joseph Smith faught the introduction and teaching of polygamy. See Answer to Question #3 above.
7) Was Brigham Young a Prophet? While the Utah Mormon Church recognizes Brigham Young as a Prophet and the successor to Joseph Smith Jr., we believe that Joseph Smith III was the rightful Successor.See Answer to Question #2 Above.
8) What is your policy on Communion? The Ft. Worth Restoration Branch adheres to the doctrine of Closed Communion which means that in order to partake of the Sacrament, one must be a baptized member of the church.
